Personal Chefs of San Diego welcomes individuals interested in starting a career in personal cheffing to attend the bi-monthly meeting of general members (see News and Events  for dates, times and location). Non-members are invited to two meetings before membership is required.
 
Membership Categories and Criteria
 
Membership shall be open to all persons involved in the culinary field
  1. Full Membership ($120/year)
    1. To be a Full member requires completion of an application, submitted with the annual dues, and a copy of the applicant's Business License and/or Published Fictitious Business Name Statement and Food Handler's or Manager's Certificate.
    2. Benefits of Full membership include:
      1. Voting privileges
      2. The right to participate in:
        1. Cooperative advertising and purchasing opportunities (IVEX, Yellow Pages ad, Healthy Dining etc.)
        2. Association related events (such as fundraisers, Wine and Roses, Del Mar Fair).
        3. Association Business Referrals from phone line and website
      3. Attendance at General Meetings
      4. Opportunities to cook with other chefs; apprenticeship
      5. Access to Membership Roster
      6. Business Listing on website

  2. Associate Membership ($60/year)
    1. May attend all General meeting without voting (and discussion) privileges.
    2. Does not require a Business License and/or a Food Handlers Certificate.
